I've been retrofitting some public housing for accessibility, including removing sliding patio doors (which have high thresholds) and replacing them with outswinging swinging french doors (that have a low threshold).
The old sliding patio doors had a sliding screen as well. The french doors don't have this feature. If I install an inswinging screen door, the required clearances will take up a lot of living space.

I'm looking at retractable screen doors. I can't tell if their threshold is too tall or not. does anyone have experience with this?
