Our state legislature, during its annual adoption/amendment cycle of codes, decreed that beginning 1/1/11, all new 1&2 Family Dwellings would have to pass DET (duct and envelope tightness tests) to get CO.

This AM the agency that administers sent out a waiver notice of "at least" six months' delay on the enforcement of the requirement.

Sounds to me like a mighty howl of protest must have blown in from an industry still on its knees in the wake of the housing bubble's burst.
