Roof Covering Section of IRC starting to Look Similar to the Florida Building Code

I just looked at the 2024 IRC and noticed significant changes for roof covering underlayment. It is becoming very similar to but not quite as restrictive as the FBC.
The underlayment application table has been completely rewritten. The materials required have also changed significantly, giving the plans examiner and inspector more to verify.

Has anyone looked at any of this yet?
