S-2 storage building

I need to know if a S-2 storage building that stores platforms to be used in the Gulf of Mexico is required to have an automatic sprinkler system. These platforms are huge (Non-Flammable) and there will be 4-5 stored in this building. The building is 80 x 250 x 60. there are no offices or any place for personnel to be in the building other than possibly inspecting or occasional work on these structures.

507.3 Nonsprinklered, one-story buildings. The area of a
Group F-2 or S-2 building not more than one story in height
shall not be limited where the building is surrounded and
adjoined by public ways or yards not less than 60 feet (18
288 mm) in width.
507.4 Sprinklered, one-story buildings. The area of a
Group A-4 building not more than one story above grade
plane of other than Type V construction, or the area of a
Group B, F, M or S building no more than one story above
grade plane of any construction type, shall not be limited
where the building is provided with an automatic sprinkler
system throughout in accordance with Section 903.3.1.1 and
is surrounded and adjoined by public ways or yards not less
than 60 feet (18 288 mm) in width.

And the only "sprinkler musts" for S2 are garages...

sprinkler system shall be provided throughout buildings
classified as parking garages where any of the following
conditions exists:
1. Where the fire area of the enclosed parking garage
in accordance with Section 406.6 exceeds 12,000
square feet (1115 m2).
2. Where the enclosed parking garage in accordance
with Section 406.6 is located beneath other
groups.
Exception: Enclosed parking garages located
beneath Group R-3 occupancies.
3. Where the fire area of the open parking garage in
accordance with Section 406.5 exceeds 48,000
square feet (4460 m2).
