Sawhorses, Supporters and Updates

Here is where we are:

So far 88 Sawhorses and 14 Supporters have stopped supporting the forum and did not renew. There are a multitude of threads showing you how to check your status.

We are way overdue on a major update to the software that I was holding off on until there were more funds available. This is necessary.

If you would like to be a Sawhorse or Supporter, please go to the green highlight at the top of the page and click on the link. If you did not renew, do the same please.

So, overall our numbers for activity on the site are continuing to grow at a slow rate but very consistent for the past few years. We have more and more architects and engineers signing up than ever before which is awesome. We are here to stay and because of YOU, we have built one hell of an informational site both here online in the desktop world and through mobile devices. Let's s continue that.

That's fantastic, is there anything you can do to make them feel more welcome like giving them professional status? JFYI, architects and engineers were the last group to attain professional status in the 1930s, before that it was doctors, lawyers, clergy, high ranking military officers, professors, basically professions require post-graduate degrees and highly regulated with little risk/reward; however, this is all changing as we are all becoming businesses. Anyway, they deserve to be acknowledged and respected.

Tiger you've got to be politically correct, it's Sir or Madame. Let's try it out on one of our architects, like "Sir Mark Handler", how does that sound?

Not all may want to be known but I will think of an option for them to have a designation within the forum. There is also no way to police this and ensure that those who say they are............are.
