I have an HVAC unit installed in a Hall closet in a new residence. Presently, the

combustion air is is proposed to be taken from the attic spaces by the means of

2 separate ( communicating air ) 6" round ducts. 1 is within 12" from the closet

ceiling and the other about 18" or so from the bottom of the closet flooring.

These ducts terminate in the attic space.

QUESTION: Can the required combustion air from the attic be used as to

supply this appliance? ( RE: G2407.6.1 ). The attic has eave vents and a

ridge venting system installed.

Thanks ya'll! :)
