Sheds in the special flood hazard area

    What requirements do you have for the placement of sheds in the special flood hazard area (SFHA)?

    Less than 120 SF, unattached?

    The square footage in not relevant when it comes to floodplain issues. It would still require a permit if your municipality participated in the NFIP.

    Less than 120 no building permits required
    Don't know about other permits
    All My floodplains are in a wildlife area, out of my control.

    Your city has a floodplain administrator and probably an NFIP coordinator.
