The Town of Sheffield Commission on Disabilities is sponsoring a special training about the Americans with Disabilities Act from 9:30 a.m. to noon Monday, Oct. 21, at the Sheffield Senior Center, 25 Cook Road.

The presenter is Kathy Gips, director of Training, New England ADA Center. The seminar will cover what is required by the ADA, what is new in the updated law, best practices, and disability etiquette.

The seminar is free and open to the public. Town employees and Board and Commission members are especially encouraged to attend. Citizens and officials from other towns in Berkshire County are also invited.
