Maybe I was dreaming but I seem to recall either in ANSI/A117.1 (2003) or ADAAG containing some language regarding grab bars requiring slip resistant surfaces commonly know as knurling. Does anyone know the chapter and verse of this requirement? I do not think I am not confusing the requirement with gripping surface.
