So a person walks out of an elevator

Single tenant floor

Two exit stairs on the floor

Fire sprinkler system

They run into a door to the tenant space.

No access to an exit stair

What code sectIon of IBC, do you use to require access to a stair, from the elevator area.

You can quote any edition of IBC.

We had this similar scenario 6-8 months ago, about a top floor condo that blocked access to stairs.
