Spam postings

Is it just me or does it seem that there are more postings on the forum that are spam which are being deleted by the moderators? Is there any way to stop this from happening?

And, I think Jeff had made an adjustment that allowed easier access to the site, but new that it could cause an increase in spammers. I'm getting on them as y'all send them to me, banned two so far this morning.

I am sure that those people are contracted in some way and get paid by the number of posts they actually get up on sites...in a tough economy, more and more will crop up....just like all of the illegal signs for health insurance and forclosures and dating crap that pop up on the streets like mushroom after the rain around here....Weed em out as you can unless they become a super annoyance....
