Does an level 3 (2009 IEBC) alteration of an existing I4 require sprinklers to be installed? No applicable state code amendments to consider.
I'm reading that 801.2 says that 704 then is required to be followed throughout the entire work area. In this instance, work area is about 100% (followup question: could they be required to only partially sprinkle, if work area was, say, 51%?)
