Stairways, Areas of Refuge and Door Clear Floor Space/Egress width

First, I know that an AoR cannot reduce the egress width.

That at times, some spaces can over lap one another.

Question.

I have a landing, where I am locating an AOR or two. Trying to determine if the AOR has to be clear of the doors clear floor space.

ADASAD you apply what is states when it applies.

I don't see a literal statement that states it the two cannot take the same space.

That isn't to say, i am not overlooking something there.

IBC (2006 is applicable and 2012 is in the AHJ future plans.)
