Lots of time suck coming to fight this thing.

Dwight:

What are they proposing to do? The best medical advice I can give, with something as serious as pancreatic cancer, is to find the best medical facility in the world that specializes in pancreatic cancer and go there for treatment, these facilities are usually university related but not necessarily. 25 years ago I beat prostate cancer, they gave me three years to live after radiation, then everything turned around for the good and I'm still here fighting the good fight.

We have several top rated surgens in town that specialize in the procedure that I will probably have. PET scan to assure no invasion into other organs. Initial testing is encouraging. We have an oncologist that cut to the chase and did not sugar coat. Still a ways from getting deep into treatment. Lots of reasearch, prayers and interviews to go. I am looking to kick this in the butt.

Thanks for all of the prayers and advice. We need all the help we can get.

I am very sorry to hear that. It looks like your priorities in life have officially changed. I wish you the best on this journey and hope to see you back in the full swing of things as soon as possible. Best Wishes to you for a positive outcome. Thank you for sharing.

You too Conarb? City of Hope has worked wonders for me to date. I will be on hormones for a while (hot flashes make my wife laugh). If you have extended to 80 then I may have a few more left in me.
Pryguy, think positive thoughts, we are all pulling for you. Medicine has really advanced. You will beat this.
