The Florida Building Code is an ICC document. Does anyone have a link to the other states that have adopted ICC standards as their building codes?

Thanks.

Most states have adopted the ICC Codes, with a few exceptions. The ICC web site used to have a map showing adoptions. There is this page which has the various state amended codes listed.

To say Florida has adopted ICC standards is a bit of a stretch because just about every instance where there was a difference between the IBC and NFPA 101, it was NFPA 101 which was incorporated - and of course in every case where there was a difference between the IBC and state laws and regulations the IBC was also modified.

FYI, the 2010 FBC is based on the 2009 ICC series of codes. There will be no 2010 Florida Fuel Gas Code. Florida will adopt the 2009 International Fuel Gas Code with no Florida amendments. The only other signifigant difference will be the 2010 Accessibility Code and the 2010 Energy Efficiency Code. These two codes will be extensively Florida specific.

For the next edition of the FBC, the state of Florida will be adopting the 2012 International Code Series directly. The Florida Building Commission wil then publish a Florida specific amendment to the 2012series of codes.

MA did this..a.dopt the 09 codes then publish an amendment book...nothign like havign to insert "Y" between "X" and "Z" on line 3 of this sectiom, etc etc.
