Did you know that sump pumps in basements are required to be GFCI protected in unfinished basements? Did you know that many sump pump manufacturers now required or recommend GFCI protection in their installation instructions?
Did you know that putting in a dedicated single receptacle for a sump pump in an unfinished basement still requires GFCI protection?
Did you know that nuisance tripping of GFCI's is essentially a thing of the past for any appliance or electric motor built within the past 15 years?
