The following link is from the Watts (brand) manufacturer of pex piping.

From the Installation Guide for 3/4" white pex, see page 4 for support

installation information.

This one manufacture recommends at 30" intervals.

Can you please cite the applicable code reference for the electrical disconnect

requirement. Thank you! I assume this is a Residential application.



 
Not to get OT.....that water heater is over 300VA? That must be the reason...or it has a motor> 1/8HP

And E4001.5 would be the IRC section.....for the electric....

IRC says 32" on pex horizontally.....P2605.1...10' w/ midstory guide less than 2"....or manufacturers specs....
