Table 506.2 Per Floor or Total?

I am looking for a clear statement that confirms whether or not the values in Table 506.2 for Allowable Areas are per floor or total. Years ago it was clear, not so anymore.
 
This is per story.

There may be a better example of where this is stated somewhere else, but Equation 5-2 has a note that says "No individual story shall exceed the allowable area as determined by Equation 5-2." For context, Equation 5-2 is the calculation for the allowable area of a single-occupancy multistory building, and it states that no story should exceed the allowable area per Table 506.2 multiplied by the frontage increase factor.

It may be helpful if you focus on how Table 506.2 is only presenting the value At to be used in the various equations in Chapter 5. It’s the equation that is used to determine the area of the building - which could be a single floor or multiple floors. But the equations also have the frontage increase which can increase the Table 506.2 area by as much as 0.75 of the non-sprinklered area (per Equation 5-5 in the 2018 IBC,) so depending on the siting of the building the area of a single-story building will be more than the value found in Table 506.2.
