In October of 2009 we went live as a replacement to the ICC forum that was closing down. Here is the list of the 117 original members that helped build this forum in the order that they joined. If we did not have these 117 in the first few weeks to create content, this would have been a complete bust. Thank you to everyone who has been here since.

OK, I had to change this to the first 117 for obvious reasons when you see who 117 is. I used Excel to place it in order by date and with so many people on the same date, it may have changed the original order on that date. Regardless, here are the Original 117.

Thanks, Jeff, for posting the list. It reminds me of how many terrific professionals have helped us by sharing their experience, wisdom and questions for free and without any thought of reward. True professionals who have helped make this board (and my own career) better for their having been here.

Couple years late to the party but it doesn't matter. I'm just glad I stumbled across it. This forum has been, without even a close 2nd place, THE MOST VAULABLE RESOURCE IN MY CAREER. I wish I had found it sooner. For those of us without a lot of insider resources it serves as a sounding board, a career advisor, a technical opinion provider, a humility checker, a vindicator, a validator, and a slap upside the head. Certainly it has been more valuable to me than I have been to it. Worth every penny. I sometimes wonder what happened to many on that list, and wonder what could have been so bad that they felt it no longer useful. I am hoping they all retired and lived happily ever after. I know that isn't the case for everyone, but I feel better making believe.

I did not even hear about this forum for almost a year, until I was at the ICC forum meeting in Denver, I believe sometime in September of 2010 and a few of the others that the ICC flew in to meet with in that room mentioned it to me, I joined shortly after that, but certainly way past the first 117.

Here is a question, how many of the top 117 were in Denver at the meeting when the ICC finally admitted they had really screwed up when they closed off the forum?

I would be curious to know.
