Should not be vented anyway. Seal and condition. The biggest ugly will be when the concrete pushes the forms. Not near enough bracing.
 
i don't see this type of construction here, but shouldn't there be a weep screed or drain plain above the new concrete? wood floor joist will be below the new concrete? looks like a recipe for disaster or just another job in ICEland.

Up to 6" depending on the circumstance. Were this not such a jacked up mess that couldn't happen, there would be little concern about the concrete as shown. This mess would have more steel and 12" thick concrete.
