Trying to understand

All, I have an existing building in a stripmall under 3000sqft. that is being revamped into an eye doctor office. The plans show a mixed occupancy of (B) and (M), with a maz occupany of 37. My question is the existing building of 50% remodel which I think this will fall under, I am not seeing anything in IFC 2015 sec 907.6 visible alarms that will require them to update to add a system.
