Is the day for the big move. I will be offline for about a week. I hope to be able to hook up my laptop on my friend's comcast account when I get to MI.

I took the day today and went to the Lava Beds National Monument with a friend. I took a lot of pictures, had a great dinner at Captain Jack's Stronghold Restaurant near Tulelake, and just generally took a day to decompress.

Sue, onward and eastward

good luck sue. been a pleasure to talk shop with you over the years. does this mean i can assume the unofficial role as the bo for the state of jefferson?

Where in the world (well, MI) are you going?
The Upper Peculiar, specifically the Keweenaw Peninsula. I'll be staying in Calumet until I can catch my breath and decide what is next. There are job possibilities including some contract/part-time work in building fields. I do know that there are full-time jobs there in other fields.

And yes, I'm still here. American Airlines forgot a bunch of passengers at O'Hare yesterday. Friends got into Reno today about 1 and we are proceeding with the move.

Be sure to check out the pasties at Toni's Country Kitchen in Laurium. Best in the area IMO.

Sue,

I'm still here and have been very busy doing state and national stuff lately but I'm in tune with BCC and BFS once you think about getting back in the saddle.
