Outdoor swimming pool with wood decking (floor on the roof) on the 10th level of an 11 story building; is there a code section that addresses wood floor on the roof of Type 1 construction?

Thanks in advance

Francis,

In the `12 IBC, ...I started looking in Section 603.1, # 10, ...which directed

me to Section 805 - Combustible Materials In Types I & II Construction.

I assumed you could identify your "floor-on-the-roof" application as finished

flooring.

[ From Section 805.1 - Application: "Combustible materials installed on or

embedded in floors of buildings of Type I or II construction shall comply with

Sections 805.1.1 through 805.1.3." ]

Combustible Finished flooring would allowed....deck floor framing, I do not think so...there might be some relief under Platforms in Chapter 4
