Gov. Jerry Brown has signed legislation requiring California utilities to get one-third of their power from renewable sources, giving the state the most aggressive alternative energy mandate in the U.S

As soon as you create the market for the byproducts, pretty soon there after it becomes a hot commodity and price skyrockets :-(
 
ah but you make that back by putting the byproduct of feeding a hamster into an anaerobic digester!
 
Jerry Brown has been pushing solar power since 1975.

As Governor Brown said he wasn't named Governor Moon Beam for nothing.

California has some of the most interesting governors whether they are Republican or Democrat.
