Anyone know of a UL rating for an existing solid masonry wall? The local code official wants a UL tag for an existing 12" wide, 3 wythe solid brick wall that was built in the late 1800's. I can't find anything in the UL directory that mimics this assembly. The only means I can think of to satisfy their request is to run the calculated fire resistance rating in IBC table 722..4.1 of multiple wythe clay masonry units.

You won't find a UL. This situation is exactly what the calculated section is for.

Interestingly, the IBC does not require the AHJ to accept UL listings but it does require them to accept calculated.

You will not find it, because using a UL assembly for masonry requires the masonry units to have a UL label.

I suggest using the calculated methods for concrete masonry (Section 722.3) and brick masonry (Section 722.4). This will require some investigation to determine the equivalent thickness. You may have to expose some masonry to measure the actual size of the units and their voids (i.e., cells, holes, etc.).

Thank you and that's what I figured the formula was for. I admit I was being hopeful someone new of one!
