Meets continuing education requirements of State boards of Architectural examiners.
This session meets requirements of State of California Continuing Education Hours:
5-hour required on disability access requirements, within the previous two years.
The attendees will receive the following information which is required by California State Board of Architects:
Course title, subject covered, name of provider and trainer, date of completion, number of hours completed, and a statement about the trainer's knowledge and experience background in disability access requirements.
Cancellation fee applies to ALL registrations. Please read the refund policy under "Fees" tab. Cancellation and Refund policies are automated and non-negotiable. Transfer to other dates is based on cancellation from the original date you have signed up to the new date you would like to attend a workshop. All cancellation and registration fees are still applicable.

* New changes to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
* Explanation of reasons behind the Changes
* Explanation of the new scoping section
* Side by side graphic comparison to the new Technical chapters
* Scoping and Technical guidelines for both American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Architectural Barriers Act (ABA)
* Harmonization between ADA and International Building Code
* The effective / mandatory date for the new changes
* Discussion State of Texas requirements and changes
Lunch and Class workbook will be provided.
