Section 2902.2 Separate facilities

This section requires separate facilities and has 3 exceptions. My question is if required separate facilities are provided, is it allowed to provide unisex toilets (not family or assisted-use) additionally? An example would be a Mercantile has separate facilities meeting required fixture counts nearby main entrance and a unisex facility for employees in the back of house. Is it ok or unisex facilities are not allowed at all if one of exceptions is not applicable?

As long as the features of the unisex facility are provided in a code compliant manner you would be exceeding the minimum code requirements and nothing would prevent it.

We've reached the point where all facilities are going to have to be unisex, it's discriminatory to have sexually oriented facilities, where are the trannies going to go? You can't even ask them what sex they are because that's discrimination, a transsexual can change his/her sexual orientation multiple times during the day without changing clothes.
