unusual splice hardware

I found this at another forum and thought you might get a kick out of seeing it.

That is exactly how I do temporary splices until the POCO arrives and installs their permanent taps. Not even kidding in the least bit. We never get our expensive "bugs" back so most electricians do it the same way. It works perfectly fine for a few days and I have found some that were over year old, through the winter that were still OK. They do, however, all need to be replaced with the permanent taps.

There was a similar reply at the forum where I found this. As I recall, that guy was trained in Bangladesh and working in Pennsyltucky. He lamented losing the clamps. :devil
