Use a spiral stair if all other egress required stairs are provided.

This might have been brought up before here, but could not find it.

Can you use a spiral staircase in a commercial project if it's not being used as a means of egress?

For example, if a mezzanine in an A2 occupancy is serviced by a code compliant egress stair, can that mezzanine also be served by a spiral stair?

Yes as long as the spiral stairway is constructed to code and the mezzanine does not require an accessible route to it.
