Looking at designing a facility that manages waste. Mostly general construction waste. The take it in through bulk deliveries, distribute it to separate sections of the building for like materials, and then ship it out to other facilities. They don't burn it there so i don't consider it refuse incineration. Its more like a recycle/redistribution facility. I don't see any other items under use group that might help determine where it should fall.

Thank you for your help!

If the users are disassembling, I would say Group F. If it's receiving, storing, distribution, I would think Group S.

306.1 Factory Industrial Group F includes, among others, the use of a building or structure, or a portion thereof, for assembling, disassembling, fabricating, finishing, manufacturing, packaging, repair or processing operations that are not classified as a Group H hazardous or Group S storage occupancy.

F-1 if combustibles
F-2 if non-combustibles

Its basically truck loads of construction debris that get sorted. metal into metal containers, wood into wood containers, plastic into plastic etc etc etc. Anything that has already been put in specific all wood dumpsters, or all metal dumpsters doesn't even get into this building. Garbage debris like residential garbage also goes someplace else. if there is any disassembling its only because two products are attached that need to get de-attached before they can get put in their specific materials bins. Basically its a material redistribution plant. trucks dump, they sort, and trucks get loaded to take specific products elsewhere.

I'd go with S-1, unless there is the use of machinery or tools (saws, grinders, etc.) to separate or reduce size of incoming materials. The use of machinery or tools would make me lean towards an F-1.

You can call it Group F if it's dealing with disassembly. Group S if it deals with storage and distribution. I usually rent dumpsters from https://www.186needabin.com, it's much more convenient than having my own. They distribute all the trash themselves. For example, construction materials. It doesn't matter. It's more convenient for me. I take everything and put it all in one big pile. So you can call them and find out exactly how their process works. And how their work is distributed.
