Just got back this afternoon from the annual conference of the Virginia Building Code Officials Association. The meeting was attended by ICC President Bill Dupler and by the new ICC CEO as well as a number of current and former board members. It was great to see my friend Roger Robertson get recognized for his many years of service in Virginia as well as many years serving on ICC committees and teaching at the Virginia Code Academy. It was noted that Roger had taught a class to almost everyone in the room at some point. Roger is retiring next month from his long held position as the Chief of Inspections for Chesterfield County. The meeting was attended by eight former VBCOA Presidents and a wide variety of other code enforcement people. Nice job and congrats to Roger.
