Vent for skimmer

A section in the ISPSC in the Storable Onground Pools chaper has this:

704.9.3 Location and venting. Skimmers shall be
equipped with a vent that serves as a vacuum break.

I don't think I ever saw this. Can someone show me an example of this?

Hole in the cover I assume.....

Skimmer vents in two ways.
1) Vent hole in lid
2) The waterline should be between 1/3 and 1/2 of the skimmers opening

Yes, I would think the hole in the skimmer cover is what they are talking about.
