If it were a large break room in a B occupancy and exceeded the allowable thresholds, it would be treated as an A for things like occupant load, egress, sprinklers, and even plumbing facilities. This is no different other than it's for dogs to remain until picked by their humans. Using the warehouse provision is reasonable and might bring the OL below the need for separate facilities.
