An update on the SBCC and code implementation.



Motions (made by Kjell Anderson, Energy Code TAG Chair & Roger Heeringa from DCI seconded) included:

• PASSED - To start rulemaking for modifying commercial and residential energy codes to reduce risk of EPCA preemption – convene TAGs.
• PASSED - Delay all codes for 120 days from effective date of July 1, 2023, to open emergency rulemaking – this would start June 30.
