Wake up ICC 500

So last post under this was 2018???

Anyway ICC 500

School tornado shelter

This is a two story one.

Has the emergency generator.

Has an elevator, which is in the four walls of the shelter.

Trying to final the shelter, and find out the elevator is not on the generator..

So pull out the good book, and nothing found.


SO the question should the elevator be on the generator???

If so what code to use to back that up??????????????

If it is for egress then yes, but not likely...At least not in IBC.....
