I am hoping to hear from people that have experience with a water conditioner. There are several types and I mostly want to know if any of them work well.

Parents use to have old school with the salt

SOFT water for sure.

What are you trying to do to the water?!

I am going to recipe with copper and want to control scale buildup. I have experience with a softener that used salt and didn’t like the water.. A conditioner doesn’t use salt but I’m not sure that it will control scale as well as claimed.

Now I see, besides the hard water,,,

The great state does not like salt //// water conditioners
