Let us see where this leads, in your code books what is the fixture count for a tub / shower? is the hot and cold demand for that fixture already sized? if so How can you size the hot feed with the same Chart?

Please clarify your question. Water distribution sizing is a process. There is more than one table. You start with the water service fixture units and pressure at the service and design everything in between.
 
appendix P in the international residential code is a great place to start.
