First, we brought another perspective to the use of wood (trigger warning for some of you) and now we are getting an education on the use of concrete.
I'm ready to start a movement prohibiting the use of concrete in construction. Who's with me? ;)

Maybe we should go back to reeds and animal hides to avoid producing CO2. Of course, if everybody would stop exhaling that would also reduce CO2 emissions.

If you do not produce CO2 then all the plant life will die then how will we replace the oxygen that plants produce from the photosynthesis process they do to survive.

"Photosynthesis" is a Greek word meaning "light" and "putting together." During this process, trees harness the sun's energy, using it to put carbon dioxide gas together with water to produce oxygen.

The Purpose of Photosynthesis

The production of oxygen is a beneficial result of photosynthesis, but it is not the main purpose of this process. In fact, oxygen is simply a byproduct. Plants create their own food through photosynthesis. During this process, a plant's roots absorb water from the ground, and its leaves take in light energy and carbon dioxide. The plant uses these elements to make fats, proteins and starches that are then used to sustain the plant's life. During this process, extra oxygen is produced and released.

Concrete is the solution.

You start by making the cement in a plant where the heat is provided by renewable energy. In addition carbon capture is used to extract the carbon that the cement process would normally produce. This is being done by at least one plant in Canada.

You then use renewable energy to extract additional carbon from the atmosphere using carbon capture. This carbon and the previously extracted carbon is injected into the concrete mix. Thus concrete produced this way results in less carbon in the atmosphere. The more concrete used the quicker we will reverse global warming.

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.

On a similar vein water is referred to as the universal solvent. Maybe this means we should not drink water.
