We Were Down for a Few Hours

Unexpectedly, we were down overnight for a few hours. Thank you Chris Kennedy for alerting me this morning and I am glad you are such an early riser. Anyway, it is obvious we are back up thanks to the quick response of our IT guy who sent me this message. It might as well be in Greek or Mandarin but this is what happened:

One of the database tables got ‘stuck’ (the XF_Sesson) which controls the user session login stuff, and was unable to write, which locked things up.

And now you know.
