Hello all,
I'm looking at a UL top of wall detail for a 1hr wall in a Pre Engineered Metal Building.
The detail calls for a "coated" lateral bracing member. Kind of ambiguous... Do they mean galvanized or intumescent paint?
The member in question is item 2B and spans from purlin to purlin.
Thanks for your thoughts
Mark

Thanks Mr. G! I thought so, I'm wondering why they would not just say galvanized instead of coated...
