Wheelchair Lift Door Landing Size

Landing at proposed 36" door to proposed wheelchair lift, occupant load using wheelchair lift is assumed to be less than 50.

When the door is fully open, it projects nominally 36" onto the 44" long landing. Is this permissible or must the landing be extended so that the minimum required 44" landing length is not reduced by more than 7"?
