Agree with both, but sadly CT has no "building" license at all....But licensed plumbers do that all the time here....They blame the builder for only framing a 2x4 wet wall. I tell them as long as the priced the job for stud shoes, they have no issue then...

We have licensing through the state for plumbers in Illinois and I see the same thing you photographed all of the time.

I agree with the commish, how many people do you see driving that have absolutely no business behind the wheel? Chances are the all have a license!

Going back to the picture ... at least it’s a 2x6 wall and there is more uncut stud behind the pipe than some 2x4 studs drilled by electricians.
