Why you should upload a photo rather than provide a link

Here is a great example. The Original Poster (has a new name) and used a link for the photo which is now useless making the thread virtually useless. This was the very first Residential Structural thread ever posted and without the photo, the context of the thread is a waste. It is hard to archive threads like this when you don't have photos anymore.
