Wind Mitigation During Re-Roofing in Wind-Borne Debris Areas

Unlike what you find in the IRC, there are added section in the FBC Residential book. I thought this would be interesting for those of you that are not in a hurricane zone, more specifically a wind-borne debris region. Take a look:

March 1, 2002 is when the Florida Building Code took effect so any homes built in previous codes would be affected by this section if they are located in a wind-borne debris region. In a perfect world, any home in one of these regions built under the FBC would be exempt.
