Every 3rd weekend in August, the City of Pittston, Pennsylvania up in Luzerne County holds the annual Pittston Tomato Festival. Each year the same electrical contractor comes out to "volunteer" their time to make sure that every sausage cooking vendor has electricity. The City even had a new electrical service put in to make wiring much easier.I am going to show you with pictures, the quality craftsmanship that any electrician would be proud of and envious of. Take a look at what a safe, professional job looks like. (a purely facetious statement)First, utilize steel supports for all sub feeds

It is only then that you can properly ground and bond the "system"?View attachment 1850

Of course all work is neat and workman like. Panelboard covers are optional too.View attachment 1851

NM-B cable and UF both work just as well.View attachment 1852

As you can see, since they know the City of Pittston will never issue a permit or get this installation inspected, they really take their time to ensure that every connections and every GFCI (what GFCI) in the area is properly grounded. (more being facetious) So when you come to the City of Pittston to enjoy the Pittston Tomato Festival with your family, children and grandchildren, you can rest assured that you are safe from any stray voltage that is out there. (again, facetious)I only wish that I could find the rest of the pictures. I can't wait to see what this year's festival will bring!View attachment 1849

Politics at its best. Send a complaint to L&I and see if they respond! This garbage goes on all over and blind eyes are turned to it. Until someone gets hurt or dies and then it is Well! no ever told us we needed to do that!

Our fourth fest was actually pretty good, of course one of our FM's is a licensed electrician and he runs most of that part.....some really long 14ga extension cords that were super hot, a couple 16 ga ones, and even a 12 ga out to an RV that was just about melted....
