Ramp Landing at Door

We're doing a commercial remodel which is requiring us to drop a warehouse slab 7". If we use a 1:15 slope, is this still considered a ramp, and are we still required to have a landing at the door?

Thanks for the quick reply, Inspector. Is there a similar requirement in 2012 IBC (which is what Houston is currently held to)? It looks like maybe it was added in 2015.

Yes. (The code sections are 1008.1.5 & 1008.1.6)

Anything greater than a 1:20 slope is considered a ramp, both from a building code point of view and an accessibility point of view.
