Building has an exterior 2nd floor patio. This portion of the building is an Occupancy B Is there a requirement for which direction the doors back into the building must swing. Currently requested as out swing on to the patio. Occupancy of the Patio is less than 50. Question is since egress path is technically back into the building should they swing in?

1010.1.2.1 Direction of swing. Pivot or side-hinged
swinging doors shall swing in the direction of egress
travel where serving a room or area containing an occupant
load of 50 or more persons or a Group H occupancy.

Thanks I had found that as well but was unsure if it applied to this situation.
