Bedroom with a door in wall into attic space. 20 Min Door or none required?

I wouldn't require it, you already have the separation between the garage and attic.
No different than having a habitable attic, right?

Depends. It will need it if attic is above garage and does not have 5/8 drywall on garage ceiling.
To answer the question I'm with Rick, "It depends"
I had a simular question in regards to access to a jetta tub? Can you install a door from the garage side to access the jetta tub motor? I told them yes, they make a door for that type of access. He wanted to cut the fire-rock and picture frame it.

Assuming that the IRC applies: Is there a gas fired appliance in the attic? If there is an attached garage that has the same attic above it, is there 5//8" type X on the lid and a minimum 1/2" gypsum board on the walls that support the ceiling?

To anyone who thinks that the 20-min door is required... What good is the door if there is not GWB on the attic side of the wall? I sincerely doubt that the attic side of the wall has GWB, and with no GWB the wall is non-rated for the fire-spread direction of attic to dwelling.
If the wall is not rated, why does the door need to be?
Now, if the concern is smoke spread, that should be easy enough via the energy code. If dwelling is conditioned, and attic is non-conditioned, then a door with gasket is required for the air barrier. The air barrier is sufficient for a smoke stop in a vented attic.
