A Contested NFPA 70 (NEC) TIA for 2020

So make sure you are GFCIing all of your EV chargers...
Not always necessary under the 2020 NEC.

Not required for EVSEs rated above 50A (although if the EVSE is rated above 60A, a disconnect is required). For 50A and under, required if the EVSE is outdoors, or if it is cord and plug connected. So not required for an indoor (garage) hardwired EVSE.
