Lift Landing Location

You might be thinking I'm just making up things to fret about, but I received a plan check comment on this. It's an existing condition. A lift adjacent to a stair (pretty standard stuff). The lift requires a 60" square landing. My clear distance from wall to low wall separating the lift from the stair is 59.5". Beyond that low wall I have plenty of room for the 60" landing. A landing allows someone to enter or exit the lift and provides a turning radius. Does it matter if the landing is 5" from the face of the lift as shown on the attached?
